It’s that time of year again: We’re about to make the transition into fall. If there’s one thing that will always come back every September, it’s your top taupe staples. Due to its perfect balance between warm and cool, taupe is the ultimate versatile hue.
The boogie sandal is not only the perfect transitional shoe (be it from winter to spring, or day to night), but also the most striking way to stay stable on your toes. Though dainty little ankle straps are nice and pretty, most days you want something more supportive, and with the cool factor these chunkier options provide, there’s just no reason to say no.
If there’s one collection no one can get off their mind it’s Rick Owens. Taking diversity to a whole new level, the designer opted to enlist a troupe of athletic steppers to perform in his creations this season. That’s right – not one model was used. Better yet the hair and makeup was all about making the performers feel comfortable so this was truly “real woman beauty.”
