No matter how long it’s been since you hit a campus for September’s first day of school, we never seem to lose that “back-to-school” feeling. Post-Labor Day it’s time to get serious again (well, not too serious!), and it’s the perfect time of year to get back to basics and pick up bags that will serve you well through spring.
Considering functionality is often cited as one of the best features of a cross body bag, it’s odd that Maison Martin Margiela’s has so little. Honestly, this is the world’s most annoying bag. Crystal fringe decorates the flap, meaning that each and every single time you open this little cross body, you’ll have to flip the strands off to the side.
Now that Reed Krakoff is free of his consuming Coach duties, I am confident his line will continue on as a strong contender in the snob world. He already has all the A-listers on his side, and he will likely gain a few more with this deliciously laid-back addition. I’m loving this new style, even though it’s not quite as versatile as I would like it to be.
I’ve fallen hard for fatigues this season. I’m getting everything in the print (of course, wearing it all together would be a serious no-no). Believe it or not, camo is incredibly versatile. I mean, it was designed to blend in! Wallflowers need not apply, though. Camo must be executed the right way and that requires confidence and style.
This Clare Vivier can help tide me over while I’m working on getting my Givenchy. It’s a mini version of sorts – the cow print I love at a price point I love just as much! Clare Vivier can always be relied upon for guilt-free indulgences, and this is one that will get tons of use.
