I’m a sucker for a fun fashion gimmick, but I have to admit I’m a little taken aback to find the above one from Tom Ford (this kind of creative design kitsch is more Chanel, no?). I’ll also say that I don’t love the glittery-ness of this plexiglas minaudière. It looks cheap! But come on, how awesome is it that it comes complete with a lipstick holster? Show me a person who doesn’t love Tom Ford lipstick, and I’ll show you a liar. The $3,950 price tag also includes Ford’s Vanilla Suede (hey for that price it’s the least he can do!). There is no way I would pay $4,000 or even $500 for this bag; it just doesn’t look like a high-end piece, but I would sure wear the hell out of it for novelty’s sake if someone wanted to buy it for me for my upcoming birthday!
