We love when a designer donates a portion of proceeds to charity, but when a campaign like Born Free Africa rounds up 22 major designers to collaborate on a collection that promises to give 100% of its profits, that’s nothing short of a movement. The goal is to end the transmission of AIDS from mother to child by the end of 2015, and when you hear how it can be done, you see why all of these great talents have come together for the cause. Just one pill a day during pregnancy is all it takes to prevent transmission, and with the MAC AIDS Fund matching up to $500,000 of donations, we can help make this happen!
The collection is for both moms and tots with all of the prints designed by Kenyan artist Wangechi Mutu exclusively for the project (Coordinating outfits with my girls? Yes, please!).
