Poor, poor Cynthia Nixon. No matter what, she always seems to be tagged the unstylish, kind of ugly duckling in the Sex and the City bunch. But daaang, check-out her pumps and clutch in the picture above! Ignoring that awful mustard dress, Nixon looks amazing. She’s sporting Kara Ross’ Large Amo lizard clutch in honey with gold hardware and smokey topaz while walking the streets of New York City. The clutch retails for $2,970 and it comes in all different sizes (XS-L), and skins/satins. This is a great shade for a pop of color and I could see it looking especially beautiful against a nude dress. I also love how Ross has incorporated the topaz. God I can’t wait for SATC II to come out!
I think her dress is beautiful.
I love the dress too. The color looks great on her.
I completely agree with linh and jeanie… The dress actually looks good on her! I would never call it “awful”, and i think Pat Field put her in it to kind of represent how far the character has come since the all black shoulder padded suits in the 90’s in season 1 (lol). It’s a bolder, more fun Miranda! 🙂
I also find the dress amazing…the way it compliments her hair is wonderful. geez sharon, you were way off with this one.
I love this look; this dress looks amazing on her skin tone!
I totally agree with everyone else. When I saw the photo (before reading anything) I thought Cynthia looked AMAZING! Everything worked in this whole outfit. The dress is a risky colour considering her hair colour and skin tone, but it really works! Love the draping also!
tell me about it, I`m counting the days. But I don`t find the dress ugly at all. Besides the fact that I find mustard a beautiful color, the design is neat as well. And it goes just perfect with both her beautiful clutch and beautiful pumps!
I agree with the other commenters, Cynthia looks stunning from head to toe. Especially those shoes!
The dress looks great! Everything was well put together.
Perfect outfit. Her red hair match the dress and bag just well. Love her.
The dress is amazing. It is a Bottega Veneta dress, from the fall 2010 collection. Thomas Maier is a genius!
Wow this it her best outfit for me. The bell just match perfect with the dress.
yup i think sharons been outvoted. i love the dress with her skintone, even though i wouldnt pick a mustard dress myself, looks gorgeous on her!
her hair looks great too
