My first knitting project looked better than this. OK, fine, I didn’t knit leather but at least I chose better colors. This looks like Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother’s bag but without any irony. Why no trinkets here? That would give me a little something to mull over. I can appreciate the handiwork that went into this but I cannot and will not appreciate the $4500 price tag. Yes, that’s right, four thousand five hundred dollars!! Who in their right mind, I ask you!?! Bottega Veneta does novelty bags right. Prada, please study up and take a tour of their facilities. At Saks Fifth Avenue.
Man..MEOW!!! Ok, maybe this chunky weaving is too much for a full fledged bag…but Prada’s clutch that they did with this same chunky technique is very nice, you must admit.
OMG!!! THIS IS AMAAAAAAZING!!! DROOOOOL!!
Like whoa – this is beyond fugly. $4500?! They are dreaming.
Regretsy!
Phew…I thought I was being snob-challenged because I think this bag is pretty darn clunky…and the price…yikes! Glad I’m not alone. 🙂
weird… i was thinking about taking up knitting the other day, and was wondering if i would be possible to knit materials like leather. prada beat me to it!
Gimme a “U”
Gimme a “G”
Gimme a “L”
Gimme a “Y”!
Love this bag a lot but too expensive, handmade of course but still too expensive.
That this is $4,500 is almost laughable. Actually, forget the almost, it IS laughable. Who would spend that kind of money on that ugly bag?
Saw this at Prada store on Spring St. It is amazing in person. I absolutely fell in love. Of course I can’t afford it, boo hoo.
