Miss Oops

Above Andrea Leon Talley seated front-row at the Spring 2009 Tracy Reese show — gotta love him — he is so cute!! I saw him throughout the week at various shows and oddly enough at the Yigal Azrouel one, he was seated in the last of three rows — perhabs Kelly Cutrone of People’s Revolution who was handling the PR of the show was worried he would block the view (though kudos to Andre, he looks a lot slimmer!) ?

It has been an absolutely crazy last two weeks! Between dashing-off to Marrakech for my friend’s wedding (was literally there for only 2 nights), I came back home only to face back to back fashion shows — exciting but completely draining! Luckily however I will be able to report back on some of the beauty and fashion trends I’ve seen in the coming weeks. To start

you off, I read about a line of products that Tracy Reese is particularly fond

of using. Though I don’t really like Tracy Reese’s designs I’m loving some of

the Miss Oops products she favors

to tackle those pesky fashion and beauty misshapes. The one particular product

that caught my eye is the Miss Oops

Rescue Sponge, because I

seriously couldn’t begin to count how many times I’ve inadvertently gotten deodorant

marks on my clothes. The rescue sponge is a portable deodorant

stain-lifter designed with scalloped edges so it can get to those hard-to-reach

areas and gently buff away deodorant marks, makeup powder, and even baby powder

for you mommies — how magnifique!

  1. Glad your back Sharon, where can you get the Miss OOps…what a fantastic little product!!

Here in the UK Harvey Nicks has just had a huge new makeup display called By Terry, a french lady is behind it apparently she was the genius behind the YSl touche Eclait….has it hit state side yet and if so have you tried any of her products?!

  2. I read that the snobs were in 2nd row at fashion week, andre in 3rd row ?? how weird. no offense but thought he is a much bigger name in fashion but maybe i’m wrong.

  3. I was so surprised to see him seated in the 3rd row at Yigal — he was front row everywhere else — I saw a video vlog on nymag.com where Kelly Cutrone said he requested to be in the 3rd (and last row) at Yigal’s womenswear presentation — why he requested it there and not at other shows I don’t know!

And Lottie — thanks! I have not tried By Terry yet, but I heard it’s very big in Paris so I’m going to wait till I browse cosmetics there to check it out (I’m leaving Sept 27!). But it is sold at Sephora in the US:)
