My girl crush Kristen Bell has been making the red carpet rounds for the film “Burlesque,” which I haven’t seen but I totally will because I love dancing. Instead of ruining cute cocktail dresses with heavy, ugly jackets and bulky tights, Kristen has been suffering for the sake of gorgeous fashion.
In Berlin, Kristen wore this Brian Reyes Resort 2011 dress. Now, I am the one who always gets annoyed with springy looks during the winter, so you might assume I don’t like this. But the colors on this abstract print dress are bright enough to make me smile in the winter, and yet not too bright to look like she’s going to an Easter egg hunt. The deep v-neck elongates her little frame. I love love love this. The layers on the skirt sit perfectly and don’t add bulk. Bravo.
