The bohemian bourgeois we’ve come to know at Chloé beautifully morphed into a classic, dancer-like profile that exercised maximum restraint and elegance. With hemlines dropped to below-the-knee, Hannah MacGibbon delivered well-executed pleated dresses, ballerina skits in silk chiffon and satin-banded trousers. The palette of neutrals, save for one red coat, extended even to the simple handbags and ballet shoes. Sculpted coats were chic, skimming the body ever just so. I loved the crisp white cotton wrap dress; it will undoubtedly be a must-have for spring. This was safe, but covetable, modern sportswear.
