I love bows – actually I really, really love bows, but this dress is quite simply a silk, bow, peachy disaster. The Nina Ricci Bow Detail Silk Gown that Nicole Kidman is pictured above wearing to the Golden Globes earlier this year is now for sale for nearly $5,500 and I can’t even begin to imagine what she was thinking. The color completely washes her out and the combo of 100% silk and more than a handful of droopy bows makes this look like a sad home-ec project. I wish the dress wasn’t silk, didn’t have the bows on the bodice, and was black, because there’s so much potential in the shoulder bow details! O how I miss Olivier Theyskens 🙁
