I don’t like that the word “fringe” is use for this bag because I am scared of fringe on bags. This tote, however, is anything but scary, it is the perfect summer bag with some defining features that is not overly summer themed (lobsters on bags also scare me). It reminds me of a straw hat! Natural linen is enough of a laid back look to get the point across, it is also the perfect neutral to wear with your bright warm weather wardrobe. The straps are suede which might worry the prolific perspirers, but I love how suede straps do not slide off the most slippery of fabrics (or shoulders). I normally don’t like dangling tags but the heart is adorable and the chain gives the bag some weight. At Net-a-Porter for $895.
Looks like over-priced Juicy Couture, and that is never a good thing…
I really like this bag for summer and the heart is cut. However the fringing just reminds me of a potato sack (I’m not even sure when I have ever seen a potato sack, must have been on tv).
I think the linen bag is fantatsic for the summer!
I agree!!!
Only the little heart is reminiscent of JC. I think it is adorable.
Kelly-
I wouldn’t think of it as “fringe” in the 70s suede jacket way. More of the Chanel tweed jacket way!
If you put it that way, then yes I love fringe! =)
