I love wrapping scarves on my handbags. Bag Snob Tina actually has some wonderful tips.
For me, when it comes to knotting scarves they’re usually vintage Pucci. My grandmother was a big collector, an affinity she passed onto my mother and then later onto me. Wearing a silk scarf around my neck isn’t so much my style, so tying one on one of my purses is an easy and fun way to get some wear out of them while adding a little pop to my handbags. I love doing this especially with the monochromatic ones (I am obsessed with anything brown leather from Miu Miu!) — love the contradiction of simplicity and loud print. Plus, if you’re worried about Pucci wears being too hard to pull-off, this is an easy alternative! Though finding vintage Pucci takes a little digging, some of the newer scarves, while still not completely on par with the classics, would make cute touches as well.
scarves are my fave way to jazz up my wardrobe.
This is a fun way to add flair to your look. I love it!
very chic and very easy to do on all budgets. i bought a scarf from a vintage shop for a few dollars and got the same look!
And don’t forget my favorite way– scarf as top! http://www.bagsnob.com/2008/04/the_hermes_scarf.html
