Giambattista Valli Flower-Detail Ankle-Wrap d’Orsay: Flower Power

Giambattista_Valli_Flower_Detail_Ankle_Wrap_d'Orsay.jpg

When I first saw these, I thought they looked like they were out of a fairytale. The suede with two- toned flower covering it is delicate, yet understated because of its color. This shoe is unique in that it pulls off the (sometimes obnoxious) flower look subtly. These would be the perfect compliment to a black lace dress for the ultimate feminine look. A pencil skirt and a ruffled top would also tie into the romance of these shoes.

These may not be for everyone, and certainly couldn’t be worn everyday, but could be rocked to some after work gatherings and would be a great option for special events. Remember, wedding season is just around the corner, and these would be perfect to dance the night away in.

Neiman Marcus for $762.

  1. I love a beautiful, feminine shoe, but these shoes just don’t do it for me. I much prefer Valentino’s play on flowers and bows.

  2. My only problem with these shoes are the black flowers. My first reaction was …SPIDERS! I really hate spiders! If they were in a different color, or even not two-toned, I think they’d be gorgeous.
