If your tot is like mine and their feet grow like weeds, then it is definitely shoe buying time. I don’t know how their feet continue to grow and their bodies don’t? Well, for one thing, with shoes the fit has to be just right, there is no wiggle room here because you want to make sure they are neither cramped nor loose. But I don’t actually need justification, I just love shoe shopping! See Kai Run has always been a favorite of mine, if you’re dealing with thick wide feet that look like dinner rolls (I got one with a pair of those!) then this is the brand for you (they are too wide for slender feet). The styles are as cute as they are comfortable. The Augustin in blue ($40) will pep him up and just him a little boost of panache with the lime green arrow accent. For the girliest of girly girls, there are just not enough ruffles and frills in the world, but the Belle in pink ($40) has just the right amount to be beautifully tasteful and alluring for your little Fancy Nancy.
