UPDATE: Congratulations! Our Idiom Einstein Bag Winner is Cecilia C., New York, NY
Cool dads need cool bags. I do feel sorry for my husband when I see him walking down the street carrying my very girly bag because it is too heavy for me to carry. He is such a good sport and for his efforts, I think he should be rewarded. That’s why we are giving away a special bag just for Dads. This Einstein painted bag by Idiom is easy to use and hip enough for him to use away from the tots, as well. To win this trendy messenger, tell us, “What is the cutest thing your baby daddy done?”. Last night on a flight, my husband let our 2 year old cover him in Minnie Mouse stickers and he had to walk around all day with them on. It’s small things like that that makes me smile and love him so much!
Put your answers in comments by November 30th, 11:59pm EST. One entry per person. The one with the best story will be the winner as voted on by the Snob team. The value of the bag is $150. Thank you Sari from Luxcouture for sponsoring! They always have the most cutting edge designers.
He has taken care of our baby when he was unwell for a week and all my vacations had expired
My hubby let my 2 year old daughter put a pigtail on the top of his head and then walked around with it in just to make her happy. Luckily it was a Saturday and we were hope for the day.
My son had a phase when he would wear nothing but Incredibles (the Pixar movie) clothing. My husband put on a wet suit he uses for scuba diving, and they spent the day in their “supersuits”.
We’re expecting in March and my husband has taken to recording everything (and I mean everything) in a little notebook, including every meal I consume each day. When we go see my obgyn, she doesn’t even ask me if I have questions, but turns to my husband to see if he’s got questions written down in his notebook. Also, he reads the “What to Expect when you’re Expecting” book so I don’t have to and in the early months gave me weekly updates as to what stage of “fruit development” our wee one was at. “This week, the Alien is the size of a small plum . . . This week, it’s the size of a small mango . . . ”
After a year of trying (and 1 miscarriage) we finally were pregnant and on our way to having our first baby. My husband was so wonderfully attentive and concerned about me and our growing baby. He made sure to attend to every craving, measuring and photographing my growing belly, etc. Once we heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks we excitedly started collecting stuff for the baby (including a collection of stuff based on our favorite scientist Einstein!). We recently found out that at 9 weeks that we lost the baby. My husband has been amazingly supportive during this trying time and never fails to wow me with his supportive ways. Recently be snuck into my science classroom to write “Mrs. D rocks!” on my board so I would see it my first day back to work. He is the best husband in the world and I know our children will have the most wonderful father. I recently found out I am expecting again and would love to be able to give him this wonderful bag which I know, as a science geek, he would love. Please choose him! 🙂
While we were at the Hermes boutique, the SAs gave my little one some stickers to play with. She immediately covered herself in them and my DH pushed her around the mall like that for the rest of our trip (as well as my giant bag).
