I don’t consider myself a paranoid person but when it comes to chemicals that go in and onto my tots, I am like a crazy person. I will not allow harmful cleaning products in the house because I figured that germs and bacteria are better than harsh chemicals. Well, obviously I need to clean, hygiene is another area that tests my sanity. I use Seventh Generation products which seem to be safe but when I left the bathroom cleaner out next to the tub and found my baby playing with it, I jumped as if she just reached for uranium. So I guess deep down, I don’t think it is as safe as I want it to be. This could all be some mental problem on my part but when I heard about the Eco-Me Home Starter Kit to make your own cleaning products from edible ingredients like oil, vinegar, baking soda and water. Of course you could do this one your own anyway without this kit but for $26, you get the bottles, cleaning brush and cloth and the essential oils of lavender, tea tree, lemongrass and rosemary which are naturally anti-bacterial and fragrant.
