Summer is when I let loose with everything, especially my wardrobe. I guess the best explanation is that matching somehow takes on a different meaning when the heat has fried my brain. Besides, a season of carefree and reckless pairings demands mixing prints and colors, and nothing is more fun than letting your shoe take the lead with this impetuousness. The way I see it, the more there is going on, the more chances there are that it will coordinate on some level, whether through the color, print, or texture (because, of course, however slight, there still needs to be some sort of order to it all). And if your friends raise an eyebrow at your outfit, well, it just means they haven’t had enough rosé!
