This metallic-meets-matte clutch is also a blend of vegan and genuine leather. The front and back panels showcase a neat weave of contrasting faux leather, which accounts for the relatively modest price (as in, compared to Bottega Veneta’s intrecciato price range), while the gussets are true leather.
Although I appreciate this friendlier price point, it’s not like Marni is doing us any hugely generous favors. We’re talking a thousand bucks for a small, somewhat nonchalant clutch, so I’d still feel kind of gypped. No matter!
