Are you a fan of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder? If you’ve tried it, you probably are. The whole Ambient line is awesome. It’s one of the few where any product can be applied fairly haphazardly and you won’t end up looking like a clown. This is all the more shocking given how Picasso-esque the palettes look (I swear even the blush goes on super natural!). The newest addition is Ambient Lighting Bronzer and it not only works as a complement to the blush and powder, it gives my go-to Clé de Peau Beauté Luminizing Face Enhancer a run for its money – and I obsessively LOVE that luminizer. Hourglass’ bronzer uses something they call photoluminescent technology to give that healthy, radiant glow. Whatever said technology is, it allows the silky bronzer to easily layer and give a luminous finish without conspicuous shimmer particles (meaning it really does look natural). Again, the key is how easy it is to blend with whatever else you have on your face – even if you apply it with your eyes closed, it will blend in naturally, which is all the more impressive given that there are only two shades in the range. If your face hasn’t seen the sun in a few months and you’re looking for one product to wake up your face, beeline for Sephora immediately. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer at Sephora for $50.
It’s $50. The application brush is $35. Just FYI.
