It’s rare to find an eyeshadow palette to write home about. Leave it to Hourglass to dazzle with something unique (beyond the expected high quality). They just launched seven palettes called Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow Palettes
($58). Each boasts five continuous shades (from light to dark/matte to shimmer). They’re super easy to blend, and you can get about a million different combinations because the colors go so well together…so well that I’ve even swept my brush haphazardly along all the colors, and the resulting hue is great. At least for me there are no throwaway colors, which is a rarity for a palette with more than two hues. Plus you get great color payoff, and the texture is aaaamazing. Soft as a baby’s bottom! But also thin, so it feels lightweight. Lastly, the palette is obviously gorgeous. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a brush!
