Grounds & Hounds Coffee

This might sound crazy and I’m not religious, but I’ve always felt like God was looking out for me and sending me signs (clearly he has nothing more important to do than send me signs…). Case in point, a few weeks ago I was moving my Nespresso, and accidentally dropped it, cracking and breaking it in the process. A few hours later I checked my mail and had a package from Grounds & Hounds Coffee, something I would likely never have tried had I still had my Nespresso. Not only did I feel a little bit better about my broken machine, but I was excited to have brew for the next day (and thankful that I still had an individual coffee filter and grinder handy). Plus I fell in love with the brand’s packaging…so adorable!! Especially as a dog lover (flavors include “paper and slippers” and “morning walk”). The brand started when the founder adopted a rescue on a whim. She changed his life, and inspired him to combine his love for animals with his love for coffee. 20% of all proceeds received from the brand’s sales go to saving rescue dogs and as for the coffee? It’s great. You can smell the freshness through the bag, and I love that the coffee comes in bean form, not ground, so it’s as flavorful as possible. Morning Walk is my favorite because it’s delicious, but light enough for me to drink it black. Buy ’em all and save a dog while you’re at it:) They say coffee boosts your workout performance after all!
