Who didn’t go through a Deborah Lippmann glitter nail polish phase?! Mine lasted a solid two years. I couldn’t get enough of Happy Birthday and her black polish with red flecks. If only butter LONDON Glitter Scrubbers Textured Remover Wipes ($12 for a pack of 10 individually wrapped wipes) had existed back then. I sure would have saved my nails a lot of damage…I used to use regular remover, and then sit and scratch at my nails till all the polish was off.
I haven’t worn glitter polish in a few months, but I still love these wipes. They’re the new version of Butter’s original Scrubbers, and are basically super-soaked wipes, meaning they work quickly and effectively (these were designed with tough glitter polish in mind). I’m traveling a ton, and these have been super handy, especially now that Sephora has individual mani bottles called Press Pods; I’m constantly on the DIY mani/pedi train. As an added bonus each wipe is fortified with vitamin E and Aloe, so you’re nourishing your nails not damaging them. I’d be curious to hear what anyone who has a gel manicure thinks of these as I have a feeling these could work (especially if you’re doing DIY gel with one of those kits you can get at Sephora). Even when not traveling I find these way more convenient (and faster) than traditional polish remover that requires cotton balls. The only downside is that the cost makes them best-suited exclusively for travel and/or glitter polish removing use.
These look perfect! I love to use glitter on my toes but have gotten sick of my fingers cramping from scrubbing and scrubbing…and scrubbing at them! I will be trying these, thanks!
