My mouth is watering (and I feel my backside and tights expanding…) just thinking about Ticket Chocolate. Being German, I consider myself to be somewhat of a Chocolate Snob. My grandparents also happen to own grocery stores in Munich so I’ve been honing my palate on sugar my whole life (the culmination was a few weeks ago when I stumbled upon a Milka outlet in Germany called Milka World…total heaven). Ticket may not be German or even Swiss, but their chocolates are AMAZING. Better yet, they’re not just plain Jane chocolate; in fact, they specialize in innovative products like hot chocolate sticks. Pictured above, their sticks come in a variety of flavors (think peppermint, salted caramel, chai…) as well as individually or in gift sets. Just heat up milk and slowly stir in the chocolate. In a nod to its far reaching appeal, my friend’s kids, as well as my father, went nuts for this. As for me, the first time I tried making it I ended up finishing the chocolate cube well before it melted into my milk. A cold Saturday night with a chocolate stick, hot milk and a fireplace sounds like pure heaven…especially if you also add in their S’mores Kit (the graham crackers are handmade and like no graham crackers I’ve ever tried before…I’m just happy they came in a portion controlled package!).
