Mr. Black is an Australian line, now available in the US, that makes a wide variety of garment sprays. The idea? Spray more, wash less (though when you’re ready to wash, they make gentle, 100% natural cleansers!). I’ve used similar sprays for my tough-to-clean clothes for years when they’re not dirty, but just “smell” from being around a cigarette, for example. This brand, however, takes it up a notch. It’s not just a one-spray-fits-all that you pick based on a scent. All of their products are specially formulated for particular fabrications (i.e. denim, leather, sports clothing etc.). They also make washes that, similarly, are broken down by fabrications so you don’t have to worry about your clothes wearing down because of the harsh chemicals found in all all-purpose detergents (most detergents are filled with chemicals since they’re designed to get out serious stains). I’ve been using the Sport Refresh, designed to clean tech fabrics, for my gym bag which is often filled with really, really, really sweaty clothes and it’s an awesome solution to not only replace the sweaty smell with a powdery one, but it helps kill bacteria that would otherwise build up, especially when my dirty clothes are in the bag for hours.
