Ling Energy Lift Facial: Just like Heaven

I love spas. I will travel to the ends of the earth for a good spa, so imagine how excited I was to find one of the best in my backyard! The SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills has always been a favorite spot for dinner and drinks. The Philippe Starck design excites the senses like no other. But it was only recently that I visited their spa, Ciel Spa, for an Energy Lift Ultimate Cleansing Facial featuring Ling Skincare products. Unlike the crazy mix of stimulation you get in the hotel decor, Ciel is as its name suggests, heavenly. It’s completely white and minimalistic with whimsical details. As soon as you walk in, you feel a sense of calm and peace, while your eye still catches surprising little elements like birds on a branch or sculptures in the corner.

And then there is the treatment. They had me at an ergonomically adjustable table, so as soon as I lay down I was ready for a nap. Everything was as it should be for ultimate relaxation. But aside from all the niceties, I experienced one of the best facials ever! Stella, my esthetician, was absolutely amazing. She gave a thorough and personalized treatment complete with shoulder, neck and feet massages during every mask. The most unique feature of the Ling facial was the proprietary tourmaline technology. A heated tourmaline crystal that boosts energy and accelerates cell rejuvenation immediately brightened my complexion and tightened the skin. There is a whole body treatment available this fall at the Ling Skincare & Spa, which you know I will be checking out! I’ve used the Ling Skincare line in the past with great results but this facial has me wanting to try more products. And the best testimonial to how great this spa is?
