I always say that I’m not a fan of bucket bags (even now when they’re having a moment), but this little Saint Laurent is making a liar out of me! Hedi Slimane knows the power of miniaturization. We had Candy treats, saw the Sac de Jour brought down to size, and now it’s the bucket bag’s turn! To truly understand why this is so precious, you need to see it in person. The itty-bitty crossbody is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand (a new trend, perhaps?), and let’s face it – we’re hardwired to love everything baby-sized. The top handle is what makes this special for me, though. The reason I dislike bucket bags is because the shoulder style ones stick out from your body and just kind of bobble around.
