When it comes to organic and natural beauty products it’s pretty hard to top Kirsten Kjaer Weis’ line. Called Kjaer Weis, all of the products are not only certified natural or organic, made with carefully selected ingredients, and offered in complexion-flattering shades, but the line is also beautifully packaged. Don’t the compacts above look like jewelry or luxe accessories? All of the brand’s silver compacts were designed by designer Marc Atlan to not only look great, but be refillable (even the mascara!). The eco-friendly line has a comprehensive range of products, but among the newest and most notable additions is a skin perfecting cream foundation ($68) formulated with sweet almond seed and coconut (so it won’t dry out skin – still apply a primer beforehand however), and jojoba seed oil to help fight aging while covering up imperfections. Best of all – again – in my opinion is that you’re getting clean and effective ingredients in awesome packaging that looks expensive – the foundation comes in a compact and just clicks open (I have yet to use it in public and not getting questions about it). Expect sheer to medium coverage (since it’s light you can easily layer).
