MATCHESFASHION.COM has just launched a summer capsule collection with one of my longtime favorite shoe brands – Robert Clergerie. The comfort level is epic, and with the Parisian label currently under the creative direction of Roland Mouret, I’ve only been loving it more!
These raffia-inspired shoes could not have arrived at a better moment. My need for espadrilles is at an all-time high come May, and these are just the kind of fun, quirky pieces I want to add to my collection. The standouts are the brogues ($455), a playful twist on the menswear style that we’ve been seeing a lot of, but the added height is what makes these Clergerie’s the pair worth getting. I’m all about a platform that offers inches without pitch! They also toy with loafers ($402), which are perfectly in line with their famously androgynous style. And of course, there are more traditional sandals ($402) and wedges ($455) because when can we ever get enough of those? (Never!)
