For anyone on a budget looking for beauty products to skimp on, the first thing to do is stop buying expensive body wash because drugstore ones are great. Hands down the best, in my opinion, has always been Dove. Their line of moisturizing washes don’t have a thick detergent-like lather, but rather a smooth and soft one and, just like its name indicates, the formulation is moisturizing. Better yet a little goes a long way so your big bottle (it almost looks Costco size…) will last seemingly forever. The brand just released Dove pistachio cream with magnolia body wash ($9 for 24 oz.), and I love it! Better yet my parents are both fans as well, meaning it works for both genders. It has some musk in it so it has something woodsy to balance the floral, and while I don’t get much pistachio, the wash is a nice light green shade. Now if only Dove would launch a coordinating body lotion!
