We all obsess over bright shoes come springtime, but this Loubie is so much more. The abstract print is like a painting or even a colorful Rorschach test. I see trees, rainbows…and yet in spite of the whimsy, the kaleidoscopic look is nothing short of sophisticated on the pointed Decollete style. This is actually an incredibly versatile heel. With the mix of hues, you can trust it will coordinate with just about everything. My only grievance – and you may be surprised to read this – is that the shoe is crafted from python. I love the skin for everything else, but since it doesn’t give, the constriction can make pumps uncomfortable. If only this was in soft leather! I have a group of snake shoes collecting dust in my closet, and it’s high time I learned my lesson, no matter how charming these may be.
