I’m a natural blonde, but that blonde hair has been getting darker as I age…no biggie! Nothing a hair pro at Oscar Blandi can’t fix. My eyebrows however are a lot darker, so on a few occasions I’ve had them lightened to better match my hair. Turns out I’ve been lucky that thus far I never had a mishap because apparently it’s not uncommon for brows to turn orange shortly after they’re lightened…and yes, that’s just what happened to me a few weeks ago.
Luckily I was at the gym complaining about the sad state of my brows when one of my favorite trainers, Patrick Frost, whipped out Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel (at Sephora for $22) from his pocket. He proceeded to apply it on my brows…the gel is a miracle worker!! Patrick told me that Cara Delevingne mentioned it in an interview, so he bought it because he’s obsessed with her brows. It looks like a mascara wand, and it super easy to apply – just lightly brush it over your brows. Once dry it’s pretty steadfast, so no worries about it melting off when you sweat. It’s perfect for covering up any color mishaps or for filling in sparse areas. It also helped ease my comfort about going for darker brows – my only option once I got my brows permanently fixed at Completely Bare’s brow bar…
