Now I love a good shirt dress, especially this time of year. They are comfortable, versatile, and look great with flats or heels which is a plus when the weather starts to turn. However, there’s something about this particular dress that’s a bit too man-ish? I get that’s the idea of the look, but this one is a bit too bulky. I love everything else about the outfit; the porkpie-style top hat, the Chanel Oxford Tap Shoes, and you can never go wrong with a Christian Louboutin Bowler bag. The whole idea of the look is adorable, but I would have gone for a shirt dress with just a little more… tailoring (#iseewhatyoudidthere). What do you guys think? Slob or Snob? If you like her look, try it on yourself below!
J.W. Anderson Oxford Shirtdress – Saks Fifth Avenue $555, Sheer Dot Pantyhose – Nordstrom $30, Christian Louboutin Farida Bowler Tote (in black) – Barneys New York $1,895, Patton Porkpie Hat – Free People $58, Christian Louboutin Brogues – NET-A-PORTER $795
Not great, just looks like a baggy, oversized shirt.
