I’ve never seen a bassinet that marries sleek style and function as well as the BabyHome So-Ro cradle does. The look is modern yet natural. It’s made from birch plywood that’s easy to clean and will look great everywhere in your home (it even has handles that’ll let you move it from room to room, so your tot can nap wherever you are). While most bassinets rock side to side, this one was designed by an occupational therapist to move front to back. Doesn’t sound all that innovative, but think about it – forward motion is more natural and relaxing. The wooden panels are high enough to keep your baby in and most pets out (except big dogs, which are pretty sweet anyway). The only downside is if you’re co-sleeping. Bending down this far is not great for anyone, let alone new moms whose fragile ligaments are still soft. For the sake of your back, just use this for naps.
