Work a hair primer like this one from Living Proof through damp hair to help achieve a smooth texture before straightening first with a large round brush, and then with a flat iron to get out any little kinks. Next, smooth hair back with a lightweight gel like this one from Bumble & bumble before using a shine serum like this one from Sachajuan to impart a glossy finish and tame flyaways.
