Jil Sander is the last word on minimalism. Actually, to be more “minimalist” about it, Sander is the only word on the subject. An effortless combination of stone, burgundy, and gray is striking without being loud, powerful without being controlling, and it adds color in time for summer yet it’s still soft and subdued.
Thought this shape and style was getting boring? This tote is nothing but refreshing, gusset included. Sander carries her spare, linear hardware on over to this tote, an ideal finish for this simple (but not dull) and casual shape. My last minimal words? I want. On Net-a-Porter for $2,160.
Pair with: A wedge sandal with some feminine detailing – that doesn’t go overboard. Lanvin’s combination of sweetly scalloped trim and a Lucite wedge catches you off-guard. At Nordstrom for $1,590.
Very lovely. So simple yet sophisticated.
