Thanks to the trend and a load of hairpins, the faux bob held strong last night at the Golden Globes and so did the real thing! Naomi Watts once again donned the faux style, this time keeping it a little more cleaned up but just as chic, allowing her Lorraine Schwartz danglers some space to shake and shimmer. Between the hair and her long-sleeved red Zac Posen, Naomi’s look was all about Old Hollywood glamour.
The Big Bang Theory’s Melissa Rauch wore a faux bob that leaned a little on the side of updo, but it’s so loose that it stills counts! A cute, young girl like her can sport the hairstyle to showcase her mature, elegant side.
But on to the real thing – Michelle Dockery’s short cut is too gorgeous. The relaxed yet full curls are the perfect contrast to her hip-hugging, structured Alexandre Vauthier gown. She’s a true Lady.
Jodie Foster had a controversial night. Did she come out of the closet? Did she not come out of the closet? Out of respect for her, I couldn’t care less. All I was interested in was her speech, dress, and silky straight bob. I think it frames her face a little too well, but it’s an interesting change from all of the other curly bobs.
It was no surprise that Homeland had a great night, but it was nice to see one of its lesser known stars, Morena Baccarin, do the same! She pulled most of her dark, slicked curls to one side and pinned back the others for a enchanting, flirty look.
