Before you yell out marketing gimmick….hear me out!
I took a friend who is a few pounds overweight with me to hot yoga a few weeks ago. Like pretty much all of us he’d like a quick and easy way to loose his excess weight so while doing yoga in 120 degrees he refused to drink water. His reasoning was that he needed to sweat out as much weight as possible. Obviously this makes no logical sense and your body actually NEEDS water to loose weight, but what if you could deliver that hydration to your cells faster? Apparently David Kirsch says he’s found a way.
His namesake water is loaded with an electrolyte blend that includes potassium and magnesium that he says delivers hydration to cells up to nine times faster than other waters. Now I don’t have proof that it works, but I did have this water with me the day I took my friend to hot yoga and I pretty much forced him to drink a few sips for fear I would be blamed if he passed out. Whether or not it’s because this water packs an extra one-two punch or not, my friend did in fact NOT pass out in the class. The water has a great, clean taste. I’m very picky about my water. My favorite is Smart, Dean & Deluca’s, and Fiji – the bottom of the barrel for me is Evian…never understood how Evian got to be so popular! Kirsch’s water is up their with some of the best I’ve tried and if it possibly can bring you more benefits than your run-of-the-mill supermarket water, why not give it a go when in a hot yoga-like situation?
