With beauty, it’s important to go back to the basics. For a minute, forget the powerful cleanser, the exfoliant, and the sweet-smelling shampoo. The fundamental in question here is water. It can be hard or soft, but if you’re lucky, it’s right in the middle. I live in an area with super hard water, so I’ve been talking about getting a filtration system installed in the house for a year now (hard water can make your skin dry and your hair dull). It might just be easier to start with one in the shower, so I’ll be picking up T3’s hand held filter. Attach it in your shower and the built-in filter will ensure that only the purest water comes out. There’s nothing like clean unadulterated H2O to wash clean with. This system will give your hair the best chance it has to be healthy and will also do wonders for your skin – it’s the biggest organ you have, so don’t forget to take good care of it! At Nordstrom for $150.
I live in Toms River, New Jersey. If anyone knows anything about the Toms River area they know how “lousy” the water tastes and how “lousy” the water is on your body and especially the “hair”. At first, I thought it was my age but talking with the “younger girls” where I color my hair and get my hair done each and every month, they were saying the same thing about their “H2O”. I am so glad I found out just recently that the water is hard and maybe one day I will be able to get a water softner for the shower and I am glad to know there is one that is actually just used in the shower and I would love to try it to see if it will make the difference in my hair and skin. Happy and Healthy 2013 to all!!!
ok if this filter really works then it has solved the problems of people living in the areas where hard water has damaged their skin and hair.
