Jack and Lazaro just celebrated ten years of their better-than-ever label, which hasn’t only seen huge success by way of uncommonly cool clothes. After a full decade, Proenza Schouler is most known for their bags. The PS1 continues to emerge in fresh colors (I think they’ve literally nailed every color of the rainbow now), but I’m all about new shapes and silhouettes. Forget messenger girls, it’s on to ladies who lunch!
Except these ladies are more laidback girls-about-downtown than ladies, per se. The Lunch Bag isn’t your stuffy, structured day clutch. Relaxed yet sharp enough to dress up (or down) for any occasion, it makes for versatility that will motivate you to streamline your essentials. In Rose (which I would call a warm nude) or Banana, the shot of foil-like silver leather looks equally good. Here’s to another ten years and beyond, boys!
On Luisa via Roma for $860.
Pair with: A top, tunic, and/or dress by Roland Mouret?! This versatile piece, splashed with watercolor touches, is worth the investment. Wear the Zonda as an itty-bitty mini when you’re feeling racy or go all grown-up with a pair of polished pants.
On Net-a-Porter for $1,553.
love!
