Prada’s little sis is all grown up! Well, almost. She has certainly come of age, ready to seduce in blousy pencil skirts, slouchy matching blazers, and lush fur stoles, but she is also still prepared to play, what with her gathered denim shirts and wrinkled jackets, with single buttons designed to reveal some tummy. The shoes really sum up the scene: –Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2013 shoes are like night and day, literally.
When the sun is shining, she is still a girl at heart. She’s up for bouncing around town, thanks to boy-meets-girl flat leather sandals embellished with jewels – or for hitting a meeting in her ultra-pointy slingbacks, a kooky riff on the classic strappy pump. And this is how we dress: flats for day (okay, so I wear Birkenstocks at times, but they’re silver with crystals!), and for evening, bring out the glam! Which Miu Miu is definitely doing. These lean, dagger-pointed pumps come in every glamorous incarnation, from jewel-accented red satin to shiny cracked textures to two-tone spectators to sexy d’orsay heels. With a pair of leather gloves, this lady owns the night. Miuccia knows: even though you’re just one woman, chances are you are leading two lives.
