Sure they’re great for parties (and Halloween if you are going as Cinderella), but what I love about them is the fun you can have. There are so many ways to style them. After all, glass slippers shouldn’t be reserved exclusively for the ball! Here are three different looks for the shoe:
A Modern-Day Cinderella: Unless it’s October 31st, it’s important not to let the outfit you choose for these shoes get too costumey. Swarovski crystal-coated heels are enough bling for one look! This is my interpretation of today’s princess. Can’t you see Kate Middleton in this Hakaan peplum dress (on Net-a-Porter for $1,840)? The textured wool would shine bright on the red carpet when paired with the Manolos.
Snob Essential Jeans: Our ombré skinny jeans (on ShopBop for $178) make these elegant pointed-toe shoes look casual with a pop of bright teal. And faux front and back pockets prevent the lumpy look that we all like to avoid!
Ice Princess: A fur coat can be relaxed or dressed up! This Max and Moi rabbit crewneck (at Barneys New York for $672) will keep you warm while you’re frosted in the crystal heels. And more ombré! How can you resist?
