I am all about red for fall. First off, shoes. I must have red shoes. Ruby slippers have been an object of desire long before Dorothy followed the Yellow Brick Road, but there’s something about the color that has me seeing red and loving it more than ever right now. When you’re feeling bold enough to spring for a red pump or Mary Jane, you want the majority of emphasis to be left on the hue. This shoe is simple enough to keep the focus where it should be, but not too simple. That wooden heel steals just a bit of the show, and plays the role of easygoing sidekick well.
