How to Wear a Floral Blazer like a Snob (No Slob Need Apply)

I’m loving the floral blazer look but – like so many great trends – it all depends on how you wear it. You have to mix it up because the matchy matchy will have you end up looking like your grandmother’s sofa! (Case in point: this all over garden slob look.)

Here’s how to make it snob: You have to totally go in the other direction for the bottom. Leather? Yes. Hot Pants? Yes. Dark distressed denim? Yes. Anything but the floral print that is already blooming on your blazer. Pick up the colors in the pattern with accessories, but balance it with contrast. A sexy top like the sheer shown here juxtaposes the feminine floral just right. And whatever you do, don’t button it up. Instead, roll up the sleeves and keep it loose.
