I’m loving the floral blazer look but – like so many great trends – it all depends on how you wear it. You have to mix it up because the matchy matchy will have you end up looking like your grandmother’s sofa! (Case in point: this all over garden slob look.)
Here’s how to make it snob: You have to totally go in the other direction for the bottom. Leather? Yes. Hot Pants? Yes. Dark distressed denim? Yes. Anything but the floral print that is already blooming on your blazer. Pick up the colors in the pattern with accessories, but balance it with contrast. A sexy top like the sheer shown here juxtaposes the feminine floral just right. And whatever you do, don’t button it up. Instead, roll up the sleeves and keep it loose.

The problem with the internet is that any idiot who knows how to use a keyboard seems to think they have the divine right to preach all over some blog, then call it knowledge and advice. Dolce & Gabbana as well as the editors at Net-a-porter would be among the few with more taste, style, and experience disagreeing with your “slob” characterisation of the Brose look. You’re giving girls poor styling tips; do some research, get off your high horse, an re-think calling yourself a “snob” before the next time you decide to post about something – fashion – you clearly know nothing about.
