An alligator bag, as you well know, is enough to get my blood rushing. The same goes for anything Valextra. Put the two together, and you’ve got a surefire way to get me to act irrationally.
As in, very irrationally, seeing that this clutch is over $11,000, and I’m genuinely coveting it. I imagine Victoria Beckham has one in every color. And wouldn’t you if you could. The shape is sheer perfection: a slight trapezoid urges the eyes to rove around the piece, and thanks to the exquisite alligator skin, the stares are going to stick. Topped with a push-lock enamel closure for complete polish, this is the ultimate sophisticated treasure. A classic feel that verges on vintage, not out of reference but timelessness, it’s only fitting it’s in lush (muted) green, the color of envy.
