If someone had told me ten years ago that the cute, little Olsen twins would produce, within just a decade, some of the most beautifully designed and outrageously priced bags on the market, I would have laughed in their face. Like rolled over on the floor and guffawed. But the world is a crazy place, and here we are today. Damn them for having such good bags at prices so ridiculous I’m kept from buying them!
Yes, there are a lot of bags you can say that about, but $5,800 for a lizard clutch? Please. I went to The Row’s sample sale recently and scored big on timeless leather ready-to-wear, but there were no bags to be found – BOO! It’s a shame because I would really love to own one, especially a style like this sleek exotic clutch. The details are divine, the hardware edging its way around the bag is a perfect touch, the pared-down clasp is just right, and the framed structure ensures it will never lose its shape. It’s all top-notch and this is a truly timeless piece, but I still can’t justify the unfair price. On Net-a-Porter for $5,800.
I love their bags…but find them TOO expensive!!
This is a beautiful clutch, but it seems like the price is reflecting the Olsen twins’ name more than the making of the bag.
Their bags are all made from the highest quality materials but so are Hermes bags and The Row bags are more expensive. Crazy!
