One of the good things about being Jewish and having a small family is that I don’t need to stress about getting dozens of people presents come the holidays. In fact, I get to be utterly self indulgent and take advantage of all the value sets and sales to splurge on myself! I have to say though I almost feel bad writing that because I know a lot of people get very stressed this time of year figuring out what to get whom, especially for those who have a long list of people to shop for and a tight budget. If you’re finding yourself in that situation and want to find some easy, guilt-free buys, check-out Burt’s Bees. They hosted a holiday event a few weeks ago and I was in awe of how many adorable finds they have for under $10. I was able to take home a few things and have been using their Sensitve Facial Cleanser ($9.99 – effective and mild just be careful because a lot of product tends to come out of the tube), their Medicated Natural Lip Balm with Eucalyptus (2.99 – effective and not as unsightly as Blistex), Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract ($5.99 as good as the ones from Yes to Cucumbers, Olay, Korres, etc…), and my boyfriend used their Fragrance Free Body Lotion ($7.99) for a week and it got rid of a dry skin-induced rash. Needless to say the brand delivers effective everyday products in cute packages at very affordable price points. You can get any of the aforementioned products and bundle them up as a gift set or you can get one out of the dozens of pre-packaged ones. Among, in my opinion, the stand-out gift sets are Burt’s Bees Essential Burt’s Bees Kit (only $9.99!), the Healthy Hands, Hand Repair Kit ($12.99), the Lip Balm Tin Ornament ($7.99), and last but not least arguably the cutest set of all, the Baby Bee Bundle of Joy Baby Basket ($24.99) for anyone shopping for a mama-to-be!
