Buckley Boo Panda: Buckle Up!

It is always the surprisingly simplest things that end up pleasing our tots the most.  Who would have thought that plain old buckles could not only occupy and stimulate but have great effects on our kids cognitive development?

Designed for the ages of 18 months to four-years-old, this collection of toys (bunnies, dogs, lions, and others are all also available) was designed by a child psychologist-grandma to encourage sequential learning via a cuddly friend. We all know the toy options that are tactile, educational, and NOT coming via a screen are by far the best.

How does the Buckley Boo work? In three simple stages:

1)    Matching: Kids learn to visually absorb and match the appealing ribbons on their bear, dots to dots and stripes to stripes.

2)    Buckling: At 18 months, children can buckle, but they cannot yet unbuckle. So for the time being, this is a friendly toy to be shared between the two of you.

3)    Unbuckling: By the time they are three, tots have both the strength and problem-solving skills to buckle and unbuckle – which they might do for hours on end!

The petite 12”-size makes a great stocking-stuffer, and everyone can be happy about a toy that not only looks cute but occupies our busy-bee tots with real stimulation. On Amazon for $19.99 (12”).
