There’s nothing like Paris Fashion Week. When I went for the first time in 2009 I couldn’t believe how much attention is given to putting on an actual show. From the hair and makeup to the runway lay-out and seating, it take the excitement of NYFW and dials it up by 10,000! All of this is reflected in the beauty look. Check-out some of this season’s eye-catching looks!
1. Just when you thought you’ve seen curls done in every iteration possible Redken’s Guido Palau creates this look for Jean Paul Gaultier.
2. Viktor & Rolf‘s Spring 2012 collection was inspired by dolls. Can you tell?
3. With makeup by Pat McGrath and hair by Orlando Pita, the look at Christian Dior was young, fresh, and unfussy.
4. Green lips at Mugler — one lip shade I hope never makes it to retail.
5. Talk about memorable brows! The ones pictured here are from Manish Arora‘s show.
6. Greasy eyes by MAC and a shaved-punk look by Wella’s Eugene Souleiman made for an envelope-pushing beauty look at Haider Ackermann.
7. The sexy, tightly pulled-back ponytails at this season’s Balmain show had just the cool, rock-n-roll feel we’ve come to expect from the brand.
