Cage shoes are back! But unlike the feet binding predecessors these form to the feet. The leather is woven with knots in between for a very organic look that almost resembles a fishing net. The double ankle straps anchor the shoe to give it substance, and stability. The only problem I can foresee is the unfortunate stray toe, especially the baby one. The holes are not super big but depending on the foot, it might be a problem. If this is something that you have to deal with, these are probably not going to work.
